Pepperoni Pizza Hummus

Pepperoni Pizza Hummus is great for back-to-school lunches, game day snacking, or any time you want a fun party dip! It’s got all the flavors of pepperoni pizza, with the added bonus of fiber from the chickpeas and healthy fats from olive oil. And, it’s vegan! Pepperoni Pizza Hummus is the ultimate plant-based, pizza lover’s snack.

After the success of my crispy, roasted pepperoni chickpeas for my Pizza Salad recipe, I wanted to experiment with other places I could create pepperoni flavor. In researching other pizza hummus recipes, they just didn’t hit the right flavor combinations I was searching for. I wanted pepperoni flavor, cheesy flavor, tomato flavor, a little tang and plenty of spice - all the best parts of a slice of pepperoni pizza, but in dip form. This recipe is it, friends!

Serve Pepperoni Pizza Hummus with your favorite pita chips, pretzels, crackers, or veggies for dipping. Any vehicle to get this delicious hummus in your face! I know this recipe is going to be on repeat all through football season in my house, because it’s an awesome game day snack. But it can also be prepped ahead, making it perfect for back-to-school lunches (or work lunches!).

Stages of making the hummus in a food processor
Blend everything up in a food processor, streaming in some of the reserved liquid from the canned chickpeas (called aquafaba) to help make the hummus smooth.
